Flat or Slumped Glass Colour-backed Splashbacks

Glass splashbacks in your kitchen are an essential part of the easy-to-clean modern kitchen.  A colorful alternative to tiles with grout.      

6mm toughened glass is used for impact strength and to withstand heat.  The glass can be either ‘float’ (the common window glass) which has a green tinge and can affect the paint colour should you choose a pale colour, or ‘low-iron’ which is white glass and will give a truer colour to that chosen by you.

Special paint is used which can be matched to any colour you choose, including metallic or sparkle in silver or gold. The paint is applied at the back of the glass so that it ‘shines’ through the glass.

Slumped glass is a process we do in our factory in kilns, in which we can put 3 dimensional designs or patterns into the glass. These can either be from our standard range or a design of your own. In splashbacks, slumped glass looks best using a metallic paint.

Cutouts for cupboards, power points, and range hood mountings are no problem.

Supply and installation:  Our prices include visits to measure and install. A silicone is used to glue the panel to the wall and to seal around the edges against moisture.
